Holly + John, Ballyvolane House

Holly + John had a smashing day at Ballyvolane House. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ballyvolane is simply one of the best wedding venues in Ireland. And now that they've converted their old hay barn into a wet weather ceremony room, it's even better. The barn conversion is so good, I'd say some couples might opt for it, even in the dry. 

Holly + John's day wasone of the most emotion filled days I'd had the pleasure of being part of this year. I met John & the lads for a drink a little before the ceremony, and to be honest he was a bundle of nerves, but he held it together (just about). John happens to be a great chef, and baked their own wedding cakes featured below. In another first, Holly's parents who where also celebrating their wedding anniversary, had a vow renewal ceremony as part of the day. Beautiful stories all around.
