LUNESTOWN HOUSE WEDDING : Faye + Richie :

A way back in the summer of 2014, I was blessed to be invited to the wedding of Faye & Richie. There where many notable aspects to this day. For one, their wedding venue. Technically it wasn't a wedding venue at all. It was a product of DIY magic.  Weeks and weeks of preparations went into transforming the old stables and hay lofts behind Faye’s uncle’s house into what could only be described as a once off dream location. Another remarkable aspect of Faye + Richie’s wedding was where they chose to have their ceremony. High up in the spiritual centre of Ireland, The  Hill of Uisneach in Co. Westmeath. Tractor trains transported guests the 5mins journey up and over steep hills & rough terrain. It was an adventure. Once to the top, an amazing plateau where, on a clear day, you can see upwards of 22 counties. After the ceremony, guests where brought back to the main house, where a festival inspired party awaited them. Stalls for fish & chips, burgers and crepes where all on hand. Family and friends maned the makeshift bars to keep peoples thirst in check. With all this, the best bit - where Faye & Richie. They so obviously loved each other and every aspect of the day to the fullest. Full of laughs and smiles strait on through the night. Such a pleasure.
